Unknown people have set some buildings and facilities of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State on fire last night.
The computing unit of the exams & records build, a school bus and the mass communication complex build were affected among the facilities set ablaze by the unknown assailants.
The reports gathered by our correspondent indicates that the student has protested the school Management’s decision on using the pen and paper method for writing examination instead of the usual computer-based test (CBT).
It was also gathered that some unknown students have threatened to burn down the school if the school Management insists on the paper and pen method of examination.
The school was shut down in the early hours of today following the incident thereby put the ongoing examination which started yesterday on hold.
